#play14 is more than just an event — it's a global community of coaches, facilitators, educators, consultants, researchers, makers, and artists. We gather for two and a half days of serious play to share, learn, and co-create using serious games and playful techniques.

We’re cooking up something special this year — and yes, it involves a spark of science, a splash of surprise, and a whole lot of curiosity. 🚀🧬🔍

💸 What’s the cost?

We have two ticket options:

Full Ticket (with accommodation): 433 EUR/person (VAT included)

Includes:
🍽️ All meals listed in the event agenda
🛏️ Accommodation (yes, that’s included too!)
⚙️ All event materials and resources

Ticket without accommodation: 320 EUR/person (VAT included)

Travel is not included.

Note: #play14 is a non-profit event. All ticket revenue goes directly into making the event happen — no fluff, just people-powered learning.

🚆 By Train

From Porto:
Take a train from Porto's Campanhã Station to Aveiro Station. The journey takes approximately 1 hour.
From Lisbon:
Take a train from Lisbon's Santa Apolónia or Oriente Station to Aveiro Station. The journey takes approximately 2.5 hours.
From Aveiro Station to the venue:
Exit the station and head towards Rua da Liberdade. Turn left and walk straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Avenida Doutor Lourenço Peixinho. Continue for about 1 km, then turn right onto Rua dos Santos Mártires. The venue will be on your left.

🚌 By Bus

From Porto or Lisbon:
Several bus companies operate routes to Aveiro. Check local listings for schedules.
From Aveiro Bus Terminal to the venue:
The terminal is approximately 2 km from the venue. You can take a local bus (Lines 1 or 4) to the 'Santos Mártires' stop, which is near the venue. Alternatively, a taxi ride takes about 5 minutes.

✈️ By Plane

From Porto Airport (Francisco Sá Carneiro):
Take the metro to Campanhã Station, then a train to Aveiro.
From Lisbon Airport (Humberto Delgado):
Take the metro to Oriente Station, then a train to Aveiro.

🚗 By Car

From Porto:
Drive south on the A1 motorway, then take the A25 exit towards Aveiro. Follow signs to the city center.
From Lisbon:
Drive north on the A1 motorway, then take the A25 exit towards Aveiro. Follow signs to the city center.

Parking is available near the venue, but availability may vary.
